About Lisa and Phil
Lisa and Phil Roux, co-owners of Shooter’s World, the leading firearms training facility in Phoenix, boast 3 locations with full retail showrooms. They pride themselves on providing a safe, welcoming atmosphere for new and seasoned shooters from all backgrounds. Their collaborative efforts have nurtured the growth of their business empire, which also includes three innovative startups: Flow State Innovations, a software development firm; Subtle Savage, a provider of outdoor adventure gear and apparel; and Southwest Armor Technologies (SWAT), a pioneering armor development company.
Deeply invested in their community, Lisa actively contributes to various philanthropic endeavors and holds positions on several local boards. These efforts reflect her dedication to fostering community wellness and safety.
Phil, meanwhile, is the driving force behind SWAT’s groundbreaking innovations, holding multiple patents for his inventive designs that are revolutionizing the armor industry. Outside of his vast contributions to the business, Phil is an avid cyclist, camper, hunter, and nature enthusiast, drawing inspiration from the outdoors to fuel his creativity.
Outside of the office, Lisa and Phil relish life with their blended family of five children and cherish moments with their one-year-old grandbaby. Lisa is also very passionate about the outdoors. An avid camper and pickleball enthusiast, she finds both solace and rejuvenation in nature. These pursuits, along with Phil’s love for outdoor adventures, not only enrich their leisure time but also reinforce their shared commitment to family and community wellness.
A model of integrated leadership, Lisa and Phil champion inclusivity and respect within their enterprises. Advocating for responsible gun ownership, they ensure their facilities offer a welcoming environment to shooting sports enthusiasts at all skill levels.
